A quiet word on "cheap" hosting ...

Please be wary of Plone hosting companies that appear to have very low prices, but do not provide anywhere near enough disk space for your website's database. They then charge steep rates for "extra" space which you will almost certainly require. Ordinary Plone sites often need 300 MB to 800 MB of space, which is why we provide 1 GB (1000 MB) as standard.

Once you move beyond a simple static website, you will need a content management system (CMS) to allow you to easily and collaboratively maintain your website in the online world.
